Enchanted
Do you believe in happy ever-afterings? I suppose the answer from the majority population in the modern society would be pretty much the same as the lines of Robert in the film of Enchanted: I don’t know if I’ll make it through today, let alone a life time.
It’s a movie presented by Walt Disney Pictures in 2007, directed by Kevin Lima, with Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey and James Marsden.
The story is about once upon a time, in a magical kindom known as Andalasia, there lived an evil queen. Selfish and cruel, she lived in fear that on day her stepson would marry and she would lose her throne forever. And so, she did all in her power to prevent the prince from ever meeting the one special maiden with whom he would share true love’s kiss.
It’s a classic Disney romantic fairytale colliding with modern-day life in the city of Manhattan. If you’ve lost your faith in for-ever true love, this movie is a highly recommended source for you to get some sort of comfort and a tiny bit hope in life of endless bliss.
