Lying on Web Dates “is Same as in a Bar”

Submitted by admin on Tuesday, 6 April 2010No Comment

The web seems awash with tall, dark handsome men and slim, pretty blondes. Men and women were equally prone to fibs, with women lying about their weight and men about how many partners they had had or how serious they were about a long-term relationship.
But the good news is that most of people are still honest when it comes to online dating.
Researchers found that most users are upfront in spite of the ease of fibbing online, as long as they are confident people. The fibbers such as men who said they were bankers rather than shelf-stackers, were no more dishonest than it they met someone face to face in a bar.
