The plot is based on Amanda Foreman’s best-selling biography of the 18th-century English aristocrat Georgiana Cavendish, Duchess of Devonshire.
At the core of the story is a desperate search for love. It delves into heroine’s passionate and doomed affair as well as the complex love triangle with her husband and her best friend.
